What are the major strengths and weaknesses of the instructor?

• Professor Riely clearly knows a lot about this topic. He provided historical information along with the current approach to programming languages. He introduced a ton of interesting tools (repl.it is my favorite). I liked hearing him talk because he knows a lot and seems to enjoy teaching the class.

What aspects of this course were most beneficial to you?

• This is all very good. Material wise, this is one of the best courses at DePaul and serves as the knot that ties together all previous programming classes. Also, scala is an amazing language and I'm glad I got to learn it in a supervised setting.

What suggestions do you have that could help improve the course?

• Nothing. Honestly, its amazing
