What are the major strengths and weaknesses of the instructor?
1. The written exams for a online java course are ridiculous. Just ridiculous.
2. strength was the drawings on the boards while a major weakness is that the professor told us once that he couldn't help us with questions for a homework assignment

4. The instructor did a good job of presenting the material but I still had a hard time with a good amount of it.
5. very knowledgeable but I did not really completely get some of the things that he taught from the lectures

What do you suggest to improve this course?
1. Don't do written exams. This is an introductory level class, not a graduate level...

4. Slowwww down. We went through the material really fast (especially as an online student) and I wish we would have had more similar examples to work on that were graded (there were some). The midterm exam was really difficult for me and I did spend a significant amount of time studying for it outside of the lecture.
5. To go over the homework a little before its due and the solutions after its due.
Comment on the grading procedures and exams
1. Written Exams should not be given.

3. Really quick. Interesting to see the automatic grader send emails the very next day
4. Grading was done in an autograder and was fair and precise. The instructor always returned grades in a timely manner (much appreciated). I would have liked additional feedback on the homework assignments I struggled with (especially as an online student) and would liked to have had more direction when I didn't know how to do something.
